Window parameter in ShowDialog()

Cinch is a great framework for the MVVM pattern, but there is one thing I don't get it. In the IOpenFileService and ISaveFileService you have something like this "bool? ShowDialog(Window owner)". The ShowDialog method has a Window parameter. I didn't see any example about how to use this. Becaue I want to call the ShowDialog from my ViewModel, but I don't want to have any reference to a Window in the ViewModel. Can you advice? Thanks!

This is covered in detail in the articles. Have a look at the article that covers the services

I have just started to use Cinch in a new application. I haven't used it for a while now and I'm sure I always used to be able to pass 'null' to the ShowDialog() method of the IOpenFileService. Now I am being forced to pass a Window object....I don't have a Window object, my view model doesn't know about the window. Has something changed or am I doing something wrong?
