ShowDialog in WPF Browser app doesn't work

description

Hi Sacha,

I run into a slight problem..! I want to show a popup window similar to AddImageRatingPopup, however, WPFUIVisualizerService.ShowDialog returns an error message

"Cannot perform this operation when hosted in a Browser"

I thought maybe this was a change in 2010. However, doing the following does work

AddImageRatingPopup rate = new AddImageRatingPopup();
bool? result = rate.ShowDialog();

I've attached a CinchV2 WPF Browser app :-)

Oooh, I had not really invisaged people using Cinch WPF in the web actually, so would have no idea what results that would yeilf. I do not really have any plans to support XBap style apps either...sorry

Really!! That does surprise me... I didn't think that an WPF app was really any different to a WPF Browser App. Which makes me ask the question: Why am I developing a Browser app in the first place, when its for internal office use!! D'oh... time to change it!!

Anyway, found a poor way to do this!

AddImageRatingPopup rate = new AddImageRatingPopup();
rate.DataContext = model;
bool? result = rate.ShowDialog();
